Purpose: To Build Phase III of the Tipton County Heritage Center Museum
Phase III will be an addition that will serve all of the citizens of Tipton County. It will be joined to the present building and will serve as the Heritage Center Library. The Tipton County Heritage Center serves as a county museum. It will be a resting place for historical antiques, important records, treasured documents and family histories that will be kept under archival storage conditions. It will offer services that will compliment other public facilities of Tipton County. The history library will not duplicate other collections. It will be a valuable educational center. There will be displays for county agriculture, industries and businesses. It will eventually be an appealing tourist attraction that will serve all of Tipton County. The Phase III addition will be financed by grants and donations from all people who value their heritage and the history and welfare of Tipton County. Individuals, organizations, businesses or corporations may contribute. The Tipton County Historical Society, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that has been established to perform charitable and educational services that are tax-free within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Tax exempt contributions may be given as personal gifts, memorial gifts or through wills. Donations may be in the form of money, securities, life insurance, real estate, charitable trusts or deferred gifts.
